SECTION 5: TYPE OF BUSINESS

Much of the business can be handled by the Pastor and Deacons, providing funds are available. Business involving a sum of money exceeding $1000.00 must be brought before the church in a formal business meeting. All Church business must have a simple majority vote in order to carry. The Pastor shall be authorized to spend up to $500.00 on any one item, providing funds are available.

ARTICLE IX: MISSIONS

SECTION 1: SUPPORT

Mission work shall be supported through our Faith Promise Missions Program.

SECTION 2: MISSIONARIES MEMBERSHIP

The support of foreign and home missionary works shall be through Independent Baptist groups. All missionaries must be a member of a church of like faith and sign a commitment to our Articles of Faith.

ARTICLE X: AMENDMENTS

SECTION 1: CHANGING ARTICLES

These articles, with the exception of Articles II and III, may be changed or amended at any regular business meeting by a three-fourths majority vote of qualified members present and voting, provided however, that a written notice of such change shall have been proposed and posted at a regular business meeting of the church at least one month previous and announced from the pulpit three Sundays previously.
